FNM is the only brand that can offer you and your #boat an entire FNM powertrain (diesel engine + electric system).
Do you want discover all benefits of our hybrid systems? The “modularity” is our winning proposal.
An unique and compact powertrain for combining all advantages related to both #diesel and #electric engine: speed, power, wide operating time, zero emission, silence and reduced wave motion.
Boat can easily switch from an operation mode to another while it is moving and can pass through marine protected areas without polluting.
Moreover, using traditional engine during navigation, the electric engine can produce power, resetting idle time due to recharge operation.
Choose your diesel engine model: power and efficiency whenever you need it!
Technical training courses back again at our plants in Atella and San Nicola La Strada! FNM team held 4 days of “FNM Marine engines’ full immersion program” for our foreign worldwide dealers from Malta, Norway and Dubai who kindly came to visit us.

Stay tuned on the next news of Imare Project.
CMD, in collaboration with STEMS (Istituto di Scienze e Tecnologie per l’Energia e la Mobilità Sostenibili) and the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Naples Federico II has written a new scientific paper on the design and management of an innovative hybrid thermoelectric propulsion system for the nautical field.
It will be published in "Energy Conversion and Management", edited by Elsevier, one of the most important international scientific publishing houses.
The paper, entitled “Model based optimal management of a hybrid propulsion system for leisure boats”, describes through the case study of a leisure boat, which is used for passenger transportation in touristic areas, how the introduction of innovative hybrid solutions has been revolutionary for the sailing and how it has been indispensable for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
