FNM and AS LABRUNA, after a fruitful meeting at CMD headquarters in San Nicola La Strada (CE), have signed an important agreement: AS LABRUNA has officially become the sole distributor of FNM marine engines in Italy.

CMD, considering the long experience and the expertise of AS LABRUNA, a company located in Monopoli specialized in marine engines' production and distribution, has decided to appoint it as the sole distributor of the whole FNM engines' range in Italy.

Thanks to this agreement, the two companies will have the chance of expand their sales channels, increasing brands' visibility.

Last Friday, March 22th, Mr. Mariano Negri, CMD CEO, had the great privilege to attend Italy-China Business Forum on Third market, held at Palazzo Barberini in Rome.

The Business Forum, along with the approval of The memorandum of understanding between Italy and China, has represented a fruitful event for long-term business partnership.

Mr. Negri, who has been trusting in economic relationships between the two countries since longtime, has personally attended the event: CMD, in fact, is one the three companies located in Southern Italy which were at the event to have signed business agrements with PRC.

Today, on "Il Mattino" newspaper, a full interview to CMD CEO who talks about the reason of this successful choice.

On March, 22th 2019, Confindustria and ICE (Italian Trade Agency), on the occasion of President of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Xi Jinping’s visit to Italy, in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Economic Development and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), will hold in Rome the Italy-China Business Forum on third market cooperation.

The event has been organized after that Italian Ministry of Economic Development and NDRC signed a Memorandum of Understanding within “ Belt and Road Initiative”, the huge infrastructure development project started in 2017. The main Forum’s aim is to create economic and industrial cooperations between Italian and Chinese companies in Third countries’ markets.

CMD, one of the most important industrial companies cooperating with China, will attend the event, to testify how much Italian industrial system is appreciated by Chinese companies and how it has conquered one of the most important strategic markets in the world.

CMD research activities have been chosen as a main topic of a new academic dissertation.

On March, 12th, 2019, a master’s degree dissertation in Electronic Engineering has been discussed at Federico II university entitled “Embedded control and supervision system project for a recreational hybrid boat”. Mr. Nicola Scaldarella, CMD Head of Mechatronics, has been the Advisor.

Dissertation content, focused on the innovative marine hybrid system, in particular on electric supervision system, once again testifies the strong collaboration between CMD and academic community.

CMD's Development Contract project experience in cooperation with Invitalia: a meaningful experience for the company and Southern Italy in general in an interview to CMD CEO, Mr. Mariano Negri.

Southern Italy plays a key role in manufacturing field, and not only in this field: investing in this area represents a strong boost towards whole country's economic improvement.

CMD is going to participate in next ICE trade mission in Israel.

On December, 4th at Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome, General Assembly of ANFIA (Italian Association Automotive Industry), leading Italian Trade Association acting as spokesman of the companies operating in the Automotive sector, has been held.

During the event, the election of the officials for 2019-2021 three-year period has taken place and Mr. Mariano Negri has been appointed vice president of Components product Group.
