A new work-related learning project has been just positively completed in C.M.D.
Atella, where is located our plant for Machining and Marine Engines production, hosted some students from I.I.S." Ten. REMO RIGHETTI" of Melfi (PZ). Students have showed great passion towards this project: their studies perfectly matched with plant's actitivies they followed.
Final result, which has been reached through a well- structured path, led to the creation of a simulation bench and a new interactive educational model, useful even for C.M.D. internal resources.
Compliance is a very relevant subject. That's why C.M.D. organized for its office personnel a short training course about "L.D. 231". Course has been run by Prof. Carlo Regoliosi, Associate Professor at Università degli Studi "Roma 3", who has clearly explained how organisational, management and control model works and the strength of Supervisory Board.
On March, 15th 2018, a conference about Suppy Chain Finance will be held at Aula Magna Carassa and Dadda, building BL.28, via Lambruschini 4, Bovisa campus, 20156, Milan. Conference is focused on following subject: " SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE TOWARDS NEW PERSPECTIVES".

In FNM headquarters based in Atella, near Potenza, our engineers actively organize customized training courses for our dealer/mechanics. Training technicians working in nautical workshops authorized by FNM is the most important key point in the relationship between Supplier and Dealer.
Training courses deal with mechatronics applied to marine sector, maintenance and marine engines’ warranty registration. They are free of charge if they are organized at our headquarters in Basilicata or fully paid if they are organized at dealer’s company.
These courses are made to train highly skilled technical positions, to make technology and know-how the strategic and distinctive feature at our operator’s service. Courses goals are focused on creating connections between devices’ design, production and maintenance and on checking economic, standards and safety aspects.
The relationship between CMD company (a Chinese Group Loncin company) and Università degli Studi of Basilicata becomes closer, especially with Mechanical Engineering Department of Lucanian University.
Yesterday, November 23rd, there has been an important meeting in campus of Macchia Romana, in Potenza. Among guests, Mr. Iantorno, Technical Director of FNM company, who has been a strategic partner for supporting students teaching and training methods in Engineering studies.
Mr. Iantorno has been interviewed by CEV (Experts of Evaluation Commission) of Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Systems (ANVUR). It has been a meaningful exchange of view for the University and for the following relationship between University’s activities and its local area: as matter of fact, FNM
has its production site in Atella (PZ).
ANVUR examination is a crucial moment of exchange process related to Quality Assurance model (AQ), applied by University of Basilicata for ongoing improvement of training and research quality. CMD company has been selected by University of Basilicata just because of innovative company strategy oriented to ongoing improvement and pursuit of more and more challenging goals in Mechanical Engineering field.
